Heart Centered Loss of Parent is a journey.
A journey to accepting loss as part of your story, and going deep into your unique experience, so you can begin to heal and honor loss along your path in life.
In a world where we showcase our best selves, highlighting the good parts of our lives. We can feel the need to hide the low, hard, and messy part of our life. Where can we turn? My goal is that this course can be one of the tools, and places you can turn too. To connect to your loss, and all that comes with it. A course that helps you understand how loss has changed you, where you can begin to heal, and how you can honor your parent moving forward.

My goal is that by the end of the course you feel more supported and empowered in your healing. That you understand your loss in new ways and have the tools to cope with the ups and downs that arise.
Why Work With Me:
Loss came into my life at the age of 12. When I lost my mother to ovarian cancer.
Since then, I have been on a 18+ year journey in healing my loss.
I learned from a very early age, that I was forever changed. But felt I was unable to express this, feeling shame around talking about my loss, and the many stages I was going through.
I have learned a lot along the way. What was helpful, what wasn't. But most importantly that everyone's experience is different. That our relationship with loss can change overtime, go up and come back down, and we can use tools to ride the waves.
So I decided that I was going to use my past, my present, and my future to create something for you. From my heart to yours.

What This Course Is Not:
- This course is not for the use of therapy or counseling
- I am not a psychiatrist, therapist, or counselor
- This course does not focus on the difficult aspects of your relationship with the parent you lost. I advise seeking professional guidance in this area
- It is not meant to be anything but support along your unique path
- Providing new perspective around loss and empowering your healing along the way
Chelsey’s approach, in the “Heart Centered Loss of Parent” course, is that of a sympathetic friend. She shares with you her own searing experience of loss, what she has learned from it, and how she has managed its effects. She provides guidance and advice without being judgmental or overbearing, and an honest, clear-eyed perspective that always remains compassionate and supportive. Most importantly, she tries to help you help yourself. The course includes an array of practical exercises and suggestions carefully designed to assist you in the process of confronting and understanding your experience of loss and its enduring impact. But as rich as the course is in substance, it is still manageable in length and in what it demands of you. I completed it at my own pace, taking the time to ponder the many important questions and issues it raises, and often revisiting its many wonderful videos, audios, meditations, and PDFs. I found Chelsey’s beautifully rendered meditations, in particular, to be deeply healing, and I rely on them still. From beginning until end, the course spoke to the complicated emotions associated with the loss of my parents, encouraged me to finally address them in an open and honest way, and pointed me toward a path of inner peace and acceptance. For that, I am so very grateful.
